Information about how we process personal data on cognexa.co.

This notice describes the processing of personal data in connection with the use of the cognexa.co website (the "Website"), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

2. Data processed

When you fill in the contact form on the Website, we process the following data:

  • name,

  • e-mail address,

  • company name (optional),

  • phone number (optional),

  • the subject of your message,

  • the content of your message.

For technical purposes — to prevent misuse and to keep the service secure — we also record the IP address and the selected language of the website at the time the message is submitted.

3. Purpose and legal basis of the processing

The purpose of the processing is to receive and respond to inquiries and requests for quotes submitted through the contact form.

The legal basis for the processing is the data subject's voluntary consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form.

4. Duration of the processing

We process the submitted data for 2 years from the date of contact, or until the data subject requests erasure, whichever occurs first.

5. Data transfers, data processors

The data submitted through the contact form is stored and processed exclusively on the data controller's own infrastructure and servers — it is not transferred to any third-party form provider or newsletter service.

6. Cookies

The Website only uses cookies that are technically necessary for its operation (session identifier, and the CSRF token required to securely submit the contact form). The Website does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

With regard to your personal data, you have the right to:

  • request information about the data we process about you,

  • request rectification of your data,

  • request erasure of your data,

  • request restriction of the processing,

  • exercise your right to data portability,

  • object to the processing,

  • withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

8. Right to lodge a complaint / legal remedies

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information:

You may also bring proceedings before a court. Such proceedings fall under the jurisdiction of the regional court (törvényszék) and may be brought, at your choice, before the court having jurisdiction over your place of residence or habitual stay.
